Default Any tips or pointers?

Hey guys Im new to diesels and I am going to look in to trading in my 04 1500 QC Ram this weekend on a 06 2500 QC 4x4 with a 5.9, the truck has 70k miles and 3.73's and was wondering if there is anything to pay close attention to or troublesome spots to check for to make sure this truck hasnt been abused. Im very impressed because I have been searching and cant seem to find to many major issues with these trucks and the reliablity is really helping make this seem like a good choice ! I have a lightweight toyhauler and my gas truck pulls it ok but with the diesel Im hoping to have a dependable tow rig for many years to come and have the confidence to travel a lot further!! Thanks for any input .

I would take it to a independant dealer/repair shop and have them do a full inspection. I would check for front end bushing and ball joint wear. I should have.
