Default exhaust question

is there anything i can do to my 6.7l to get a descent sound out the exhaust w/o having to start deleting emissions stuff?...i dont want to void my warranty.

From what others have said here, the answer is no. Removing the muffler changes the exhaust note just slightly. Apparently the catalyst and DPF affect the sound a great deal on our 6.7L engines.

Perfect solution! Get a 5.9! j/k bro. You could hack off the muffler like stated above and give it a better note, but really w/o the delete 'kits' your almost pissin in the wind. Knock the muffler off and see how ya like it. But beware...the sound is addicting...your gonna wanna get the delete kit. Good luck!

NO!! deleting the muffler will do absolutely nothing. it is a straight through design that only eliminates drone at certain engine speeds. don't waste a penny unless your willing to delete some things.
