Default help code P2149

lately i had a couple of codes come up P2149,P0336,P2509 i have a 2003 3500qc dually with the 5.9 305hp but wenever the code P2149 came up the truck started to run ruff and sounded like it was runnin out of diesel and has no power at all you step on it and hardly moves and shakes like it if were runnin out of diesel i change the fuel and water separator filter and started to run good again and then after 50 miles same thing so i got home and trun it off and then back on and started good and sounded good any advise as of what might be wrong with it

It sounds like you have a injector wiring harnass that is shorting or has a bad connection. With the vehicle running, wiggle the 4,5,and 6 injector connectors and see if it acts up or clears up.

I went on actron.com where u can put codes in, p2149 shows no definition same for p2509, but p0336 says "crankshaft position sensor a ckt range/perf" what ever that means maybe that will help u a little further along sry couldnt help more.

I had the same issue with my truck when it threw the P2149 code. I had the dealership look at it and they replaced the valve cover gasket and haven't had a problem since. I guess there are injector wires in the gasket and my #5 injector was shorting out cuz it too run really rough.

iam hoping its the wiring because the injectors are a little pricey

sounds like a injector solenoid is sticking open, watch your oil level and you may start to experience hard start,white smoke ,and loss of fuel mileage. did happened on my Mazda RX7 Parts.
