Angry Problem with Cummins idle, help please

Hi guys

Can you help me out. The car is 2005 year Dodge Ram 3500 with 5.9 Cummins motor.
And issue is - when I fire up motor, everything is ok. Idle is around 1000-1100 RPMs. BUT as soon as I add throttle, let`s say up to 1500-1800 RPMs then motor stays there even when I take foot off throttle pedal. If I add again throttle, it brings RPMs up as much as I add and again stays there. So I need to turn off motor, otherwise RPM-s stay as high as I pushed it with throttle pedal.
May it be TPS or something else?
Sorry about my spelling, english is not my first language.

that does sound weird. I have never heard of that before, my 1st thought would be TPS module is sticking. are there any error codes?

use the key on-off-on-off-on method to retrieve the codes from the odometer. if there is a code, it may not trip the CE light yet
