Vacuum line check
In the 2g forum, someone suggested spraying starter fluid on vacuum hoses to track down a leak. Can we do this on our trucks? I know because of the turbo we can't use starting fluid to start the truck, but I would guess the vacuum lines would be okay...

I was told the cruise control might have a vacuum leak. I just found out that my clock spring is toast, and that's what's wrong with my CC. So just to clarify, the CC is not controlled by a vacuum line?
