Default Sitting at the dealer waiting for the CEL to be reset!

I pull horses coast to coast with an '08 Ram dually. The truck was bought new in December '07 and has just over 200,000 miles on it, almost all of them highway miles. It is always driven under load, pulling a 45' gooseneck horse trailer, usually loaded with five to eight horses.

This truck has been one long headache after another. The CEL comes on nearly every trip cross country. My boss in on a first name basis with every Dodge service man from Miami to Los Angeles. This time it's the catalytic converter. That time it was trash in the injectors from "bad fuel". We've been told to run the engine brake all the time, we've been told not to run it at all, we've been told not to idle the truck at all, we've been told to idle whenever we can. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Anybody else with an '08 who is experiencing these problems? Anybody have a solution? Is the lemon law our only recourse?

Thanks for any ideas.

gonna move this to the CTD section, but before I do. I have a buddy who is the sales mgr. of a Chrysler dealership. Some months ago I toyed with selling my Hemi outright as trade in allowance was a joke no matter where I went. Truck is mint, an '04 with barely 40k miles on it, $8k in mods, and nobody would still give me KBB Avg. Trade for it!
Anyway, this guy told me to STAY AWAY from the 6.7 CTD as in the less than two year run at the time, the guy had lemon law'd more of them out than total Dodge Trucks in the twelve previous years he's been a GM for the dealership!!!

That said, I think you are gonna have a pretty hard time convincing anyone who counts that a truck with 200k miles on it is a lemon...
