Default incentives for the 2009

looking to purchase a 2009 Ram2500 diesel

I saw on one dealers website they had one with $13000 discount!

what incentives are available to dealers for the 2009 Ram2500 and whats a realistic discount off of MSRP?

and is it a good time to buy since they are "under" ?

thanks

I bought an '09 3500 6.7L Megacab, 13000 off from the factory and 3000 off because I lived in the mid-Atlantic region for a total of 16000 off of the sticker. That is not a typo, 16,000.00 off.. So I bought it.

what incentives were they

I saw they had $4000 for consumer rebate and $2000 for Owner Loyalty. Is there a dealer cash behind it?

more info would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I think the 13,000 was a manufacturer incentive only for the month of May, the 3,000 was for VA, MD, and Delaware, also from the Manufacturer. I picked up the truck on 1 June. The original Sticker was 60,000, with Tax, Tags, and delivery etc. I payed 45,000. I had the dealer throw in a LineX spray in liner and a Tenko Trailer brake module.

If the dealer is one of the ones getting axed, probably now since they will have to eat any inventory they have. Even if they aren't one of the dealers getting axed, those dealers will want to get rid of their inventory. If the dealer you go through isn't on the chopping block, they should be able to get the trucks cheaply from those who are.
