my truck is black and i am soon to get a lineX job in the bed after i install my turnover hitch. but since rock chips and scratches really show up on a black paint job and my deep tread tires don't help to much. I was wandering what you all would think if i were to get the bottom of my doors and the behind the rear tires lineX as well about 8" high. Comment on this and tell me how you all would think it'd look. Thanks.

eh. idk man...i think you gotta either love it or hate it. im not a big fan of it...clashes too much with the dark shiny black. my old ram was black and i never really experienced anything too bad from rocks and such. I mean...of course they are gonna happen, but just keep her clean and wax her often and she will shine.

yeah i guess thats right it would clash. I knew a guy once that had a ford and the whole truck was lineX. he would wash it and then spray tire wet on it and it would shine like a regular paint job haha. I'm gonna wait for a few more ding and dents and then make my mind up. the only bad thing is once its done theres no turnin back.
