racer9 and saltsman are idiots "dont worry about it" and something about a computer resell, how retarded. i understand that the ecm doesnt lie, but that wasnt the question. i dont want 2 buy a truck that shows 30k when it might really have 130k. i know this can be done by pulling a fuse in the fuse box on the 5.9l. Can it also be done on the 6.7l? if so how? so i now what 2 look 4 when i find a used 6.7l. Buying new might be the safest way 2 go...
I think your a little paraniod about it. I mean if it was that simple you wouldn't see a 5.9 with over 100k on it. Every body would pull the fuse.
Just like parts/service said, as soon as the fuse is put back in the correct miles show up. And I don't know if you can do it on the 6.7 or not.

PS, I'll sell you my truck. It only has 1500 miles on it, never driven in winter, or hot summer days, or over 50 mph. Always kept in a heated garage, up on blocks, so the tires don't touch the ground. Motor, transmission, differential oil changed every 50 miles. Washed/waxed/detailed once a week. Nobody ever smoked in it either. It has the NV560068RFE automatic/manual 8 speed trans. Gets 40-50mpg. Real cheap, only $235,015.23

It doesn't work on my truck, (not the one I'll sell you "wink wink") My ABS fuse has been out for 3 years, and the miles continue to add up.
BESIDES, IF YOU ALREADY KNOW IT WORKS, WHY ASK THE QUESTION?????????????? Just buy one from one of your dishonest friends.
