Default Jerky shifting

I have a 2001 Ram 2500 4X4 w/automatic transmission and 236000 miles. A problem has cropped up in the last couple of weeks. The transmission seems to want to shift in and out of overdrive at about 45-52 MPH. Taking it out of overdrive seems to help some but does not completely eliminate the problem. Once I get past 50 MPH everything is fine. Any help will be appreciated.

I've had the same problem and I have read a few times on here that it could be a ground problem. Well today I talked to one of my diesel vendors about the problem and he told me to cut out the 2 grey connectors off the ground wires from the passenger side battery and solder them together and heat shrink them. Well that was the ticket, drove home today smooth as can be. Hope this helps
