Default Shopping for a Ram - Diff between 2500 and 3500?

Hi all, I am shopping for a used RAM. I am looking for a 2003-2005 model with the Cummins, and I was curious what the differences are between the 2500 and the 3500 assuming both are single rear wheels. I mean, is there a different auto trans used in the 3500 or a larger rear diff? I would guess the 3500 brakes are larger, but is that all? Any info about the possible differences would be appreciated, thanks!!

You can get an SRW 3500 in the 3rd gen bodystyle? I thought they were all DRW.

You can get 3rd gen 3500 in SRW.

Also, from my understanding (there have been many threads about this in the past), the only difference between the 2500 and SRW 3500 are the overload springs mounted above the main leaf packs, the door sticker, and the 3500 emblem... that's it. Rear diff is the same, brakes are the same, etc.

Yes, I am even seeing SRW shortbed 3500's.. Thanks, minex, ok so the trucks are essentially the same other than rear springs.
