I am trying to find info on something called "mp 8".

it is a box made by TST. 0-100hp stackable box

 

I believe it ramps up fuel rail pressures, on the high side, most run them with the bigger injectors

 

It's a great thing to stack with a BDTD which does timing and duration, the MP8 adds pressure.
If you're going to run one you should get a rail pressure gauge.
My Quad X2 adds pressure as well but it's control pod has a rail gauge built in.
