How long has it been since you've had your tranny serviced? Also is it stock or had any upgrades?

I have the same truck, same year, same problem, my truck is going into the shop Tuesday morning next week. I also have many other tranny problems I posted today. Let you know when I find out.

Default here is the fix

Th detent lever is suppose to be square and has rounded. Dodge has a bulletin for this and updates the lever to a reman valvebody.

I have noticed sometimes my 04 3500 does that my opinion its me not pushing the brake pedal enough to release the safety lock. If that is happening to you.. If mine won't go into gear I just push the brake pedal harder. But sometime it is a pain to get mine out of park and the safety has released itself and still won't work correctly.
So what is Up with the reman valve body. Dodge replace that for free or what? lol yeah right $50 for the part $2000 for labor
