Default Time for Tires

Well, i really need to get new tires this fall, before winter rolls around. I want some tires that are a bit wider and "meatier" looking, but won't affect my speedo. Does anyone have something similar to what im looking for? Most of my driving is highway. No off-roading or anything, but alot of towing for work.

Jus get a good set of all terrains...I'm due 4 tires myself...I run 35s. I had cooper stt's and they were great off road and good in wet weather also. Since ur not looking for anything bigger, I would look into some bfg all terrains. Or maybe a good set of michelins

I have a set of the Yokohama Geolander AT's which are a great tire. You have to research because not everyone can get them. Had good reviews. My only complaint the first 100 miles ore so they did have a mild wander but are perfect now. Also quiet but aggressive looking.

Nitto Terra Grapplers, the only way to beat these tires is with Cepek FCIIs or an M/T, and it'll cost ya 3x as much. They come in the size you want, have the load and ply rating you need, they're surprisingly quiet, very good traction in all weather. Honestly, I think they grip even better on wet roads than dry. I paid $170 shipped per tire for 33s, and have seen 35s listed anywhere from $180-$205 a tire. If you hunt around, I bet you'll find them for less.

I need to change my tires also the inner rear tires are showing cords so I got a safety inspection to do next month so I'll have to get that done before hand you guys think for duel tire trucks. I tow ALOT not buying new front tires those are new went with general (stock tires)
my last truck had 38s swappers I'm not lifting this truck so I can't add 38s to it? And as far as truck tires I have know idea all my trucks was lifted and had 35s or bigger ????

Pizzo, I would stick with the generals for your towing needs. seems to me that an AT tire would wear faster towing than a street tire. My generals went 70k on them.
