Has anyone had to hire an attorney to fight Chrysler
My 08' 6.7 is in the shop for the 4th time, 36,000 miles. They are now running more detailed mandatory testing when the trucks come in with the CEL. Their testing mysteriously turned up "contaminated fuel" and therefore Chrysler is not covering the new turbo and egr system, fuel pump module and a list of other things .... $8000. They are asking me to get my insurance involved to pay for it. Chrysler is claiming this is now a fuel issue and that releases them of the responsibility. The dealership is on my side and agrees with me but says Chrysler has spoken and that is it. Has anyone had a lawyer get on their case against Chrysler dealing with the 6.9 issues?

get a fuel sample. You need to talk to the right person at Chrysler. good luck with that. Maybe cummins may do something for you. with bad fuel i don't know. what was it contaminated with? did you use b20 biofuel or greater then b 20 or do you make your own fuel if so forget it nobody will do anything for you!!!!
when you get a fuel sample if you bought the fuel at a station then talk to a lawyer then you can try to go after the station. There has to be other people that has had the same problems with the same station though. if any of that helps GOOD LUCK
