Hi guys . Im new to this site. I have a great looking 08 6.7 CTD Mega -cab 4x4 Ram with a lift kit and top of the line Southern comfort package. I really love it and Brought it new. It had great power off the line. It would spin tyres at 1/2 throttle and take off like a mad man, But at about 4000 mls i noticed that when I would floor it from idle it has an obvious lag for about 1-2 seconds (It wont even spin tyres fully floored on a wet road?)with no acceleration until the turbo spools up, then it seems to run ok (but I'm still thinking its down on over-all power).Certainly the bottom end power has gone. I also noticed around this time a little Rattle (like maybe the turbo when it spools up). The sound is coming from the engine area infront of the Steering wheel. Dont know if its related to the power loss, but certaily it wasn't there when I first brought it new.The dealer had another 6.7 CTD in shop at same time with the exact same problem with the instant lag on the bottom end power.(the mechanic said it runs just like mine) Does anyone know what this is or had similar probs with there 08 6.7 CTD???. Help is appreciated. Once it gets up and going it still rides nice
