i just got an 03 cummins 6 speed 3500 with the electric shift 4wd. i was making a growling noise so i took the front drive line off and it quit...i seen one u-joint was bad. but i spun the tranfer case front output shaft and it sounds like the chain is slapping the case. the front bearing seems loose and both shaft seals leak a little bit. where is the best place to get the chain for cheap? but i dont want a junky 1 i would rather pay more for 1 that will last. im just looking for a price for chain and what i should pay for bearings, seals and gaskets. i think i can get the bearing from a timkin bearing dealer in town for cheap so all i should need is the chain, seals and gaskets. so would my truck have a np273d or ? thanks for the help Josh.
