headlights not working

Default headlights not working

my headlights in my 96 cummins are not working the fuses are good the bulbs are good what could be the problem

try the head light switch see if there is power comming out. on your year I am not sure if you have a relay or not. You are using a test light to check everything try testing the plugs on your head lights and see if there is a ground also

Also check the wire in the steering column. Mine has pulled out of the connector several times. I ended bypassing the connector completely and has solved the problem.

On that year truck there was bad wiring in the steering column if it is tilt steering. on good way to check that is shake the steering wheel up and down and see if the problems are fixed. Or take the covers off the column and see if the wires are pinched or broken. Dodge makes a wire harness to fix the probem and I believe depending on the year there maybe a recall for that problem as well.
