Default 2004 Ram 2500 5.9 Speedo Cluster Swap

Hello,
I have a defective gauge cluster in my 2004 Ram 2500 Diesel. I have located a used cluster for a good price and was wondering if I swap it over if I will have any problems? Also will I need to get the new one recalibrated or will it update to my current mileage on its own?
Thanks

im not 100% sure on th 04, but the 2nd gen trucks, you could just swap out without any issues other than the milage is stored in the cluster, so what ever the replacement cluster had on it is what you get, might be the same for the 3rd gens...
