does cali do checks? i know they started the smog thing for 09 diesels and newer but we dont have to smog the old ones like my 01, but wen do they do a check?

Last I saw, Cali IS going to start checking older diesels and "suppossedly" is going to start requiring retro-fitting catalytic converters.

Whether that's actually true or not, I don't know. That's just the last I've heard.

I know they are doing it with the big trucks, but not sure how far down into the private vehicles it'll go.

Being that's it's Cali, it wouldn't surprise me.

yea same here, it wouldnt surprise me at all. lol, cali is so strict and has so many retarded rules. i really hope it doesnt go into privately owned. that would suck.
