Default Leaking Transmission?

I guess first of all I have a 2006 2500 Mega Cab 4x4. I recently went deer hunting and was pulling a 6000 lb trailer up some steep off-road terrain. My Tranny oil hot light came on. Went off in a couple of minutes. When I came home from the hunt the next day noticed what appeared to be tranny fluid puddle under my truck. Took it to a tranny shop and they did a full check, no codes, no metal, changes the fluid and filter and said if it continued it is probably a front seal blown. Next day bigger puddle. Puddle only appears when front end facing down hill slightly. I have read about possible coolant line leaks next to the turbo? I am new to the forum but any opinions if I am going down the right track would be appreciated. I don't want to take it back in and pay for a tear down unless I have to.

Thanks

Take alook around the pass side front trans cooler, between radiator & turbo cooler. Mine was leeking there, A lot of people are having the same problem. Dodge has 800 back ordered, had trans shop replace it with a 40,000 gvw trans cooler w/1/2 lines. works good & no leaks!!

Thank you for the tip. I will definitely check that. If it does turn out to be what my problem is do you have a ballpark idea on what it will set me back?

Default trans leak

I had my trans rebuilt and they fixed it at the same time, ($3,500.). I think it was about $350. Installed. But you can do it yourself, Cooler was $100. Cooler hose line $20. Remove your cooler and cut your aluminum line near cooler, install new cooler, run new hose, fill trans and your done!
