Exclamation removeing the dpf on 6.7 cummins

hey can anyone tell me what will happen if i remove the dpf and all that garbage and just run a straight pipe thru all of that if and codes or lights come on has any one done this yet wanted to add my egts are running to hot and thought that might help to cool them down

Their is kits you buy with all the stuff you need so the lights won't come on. www.doghousediesel.com may sell them I am not sure. Check with him and see what you need.

Removing the DPF and not installing AT LEAST the shim kit will cause the CEL and your truck WILL go into regen mode.

To keep it from going into Regen, you need the shims on the factory sensor plugs.

To kill the CEL, you need either an H&S XRT programmer or a Smarty S-67.

With either of those, you can turn off the DPF and EGR functions.
