Unhappy Intermittant Radio

2007 HD2500. With cold engine, I turn the key (not start-up) and all dash and radio lights initialize normally and the radio will play normally. After starting the engine, the radio stops and cannot be turned on - no radio lights display. After driving and the engine is warm, turning the key as above finds that the dash lights will initialize but the radio does not come on. After starting the engine the radio is still dead. What could it be?

Dodge should do a recall on this. It seems like a lot of us are having this problem. It's really frustrating paying Sirius subscription and not being able to use it!
From what I've heard, it could be ignition switch related.

Honestly what I would do is call the dealer. Have the last Nine of your vin ready and see what if their is a report on it. for any other dodge rams with the same problems? you could sit here and change parts till the checking account is empty. and not get anywhere.
The said part is its not a SAFETY ITEM. Their won't be a recall on it. but if their is a write up on it then they will tell you what is wrong with it and then get back to us what is wrong then if you can buy the parts at a autoparts store then let me know.

Just let a few rams catch on fire and it will be free.
Seriously though if it is a common issue check the TSB's.
