depends on the time and work you want to put into it, the new truck would be a lot eaiser, but a lot of $... conversions arnt hard at all, if you have a doner pruck to pull the parts from, the 12v would be the eaisest and cheapest conversion, thats what i did with my 98 v-10...

really, ive thought about getting a 410 six pack and doing an engine swap but im pretty sure i could pick up an old 12v from the city or something, i love my truck and im not saying anything bad about 5.2 but i just wanted something with a little more youknow, but then again i also want a 4X4 maybe i can get one with a screwed up body and ok everything else and use my truck as the donor

ya, you got to play with all of the ideas, but i had a built 440 in my 75 and a v-10 in my 98, and in my sig you can see what i did to both of them, a heck of a lot more power, and three times the fuel milage

well then, im sold, i guess all i have to do now is save til the V8 dies does anyone know if they make like a kit with the fuel system and whatever if the donor is only good for the engine and will it run without turbo if i cant get one right away? but i might just start looking for used 4x4 2500.
