Default Rim size

I am putting a new lift on my truck and upgrading to 33x12.5x17 tires. I would like the tire to go all the way to the edge of the wheel well and not extend more than a 1/4 of an inch out(cops ginving to many tickets around here). with 4.5 back spacing can anyone tell me should I go with a 8" or a 9" wide rim.

Thanks,

8 would be your best bet, but will probably still stick out more than you want with 12.50's, a 9 or bigger will be way out there, im running 10's on mine and they stick out 2-4in depending on where you look

I just out an looked and y 265s are already even. Guess I better stay with the 8"s. Wouldn't mind hearing peoples thoughts on polished vs chrome.

Thanks,

if you off road a lot, go with polished, they do dull quicker, but a quick rub with some polish and they will always shine like new, chrome is a little eaiser to mantain, but off road they will get dinged up and start flaking, and when they dull out, there isnt much you can do to bring the shine back, i run nothing but polished

I was leaning that way since I will be off road during bird season. Doesn't hurt that they are less expensive also.
