It is unbeleivable all the good info on this site.

I just finished reading the articles on the 53 block and guess if I were out to buy a truck, this is one of the first things I'd look into.

Anyone know what the cost of these repairs are and approximately how much time is involed??

 

some break and a lot dont... but if it does, you have to replace the block, a DIY job i would guess around the $2500 range to do it right
