Default Gasser with Oil question

Hi all, I run a 5.2L gasser. I'm here cause I want to know if its safe to run Rotella 15W-40 or SAE 30W in my little gas engine? The reason I ask is I got low oil pressure and wanted to try heavier oil and see if I have any better pressure.

I have 10w-30 in it right now and get 60psi cold and barely 5psi at normal operating temps. I'm basically testing to see if my main/rod bearings are worn and heavier oil will at least give me better pressure and time so I can properly fix it when i got the cash.

I'll take any opinions...

i always ran rotella in my gassers, it actually works very well for the situation your in, just if its cold really cold out, you should let it warm up or keep the rpm's low untill it does, to avoid oil pump drive problems, i never had it happen, but it can, and i ran it in the wyoming winters in my 440 when it was in my 75, i dont think you will have any problems

Oh I always let my truck warm up before I drive it when it gets cold, kinda a pet peeve of mine. Gonna go ahead and try it this weekend...
