Default Seat Belt Alarm

I have a 04 2500 Deisel and I have trouble with the seat belt on the drivers side. No I am not like one of those idiots that want to disarm the alarm. I am always hooked up, but I have the alarm on that goes out after probably 10 cycles of alarms, then the alarm goes quiet but the light on the dash is still on. Any ideas on a fix. or is it a garage fix.
Thanks

check the wires from the latch into the harness, or could be a failing switch in the latch

It has to be in the latch. The alarm would go on and off at anytime before this. I could get it to shut off if I would reach down and move the latch. Is the latch sealed up where you can't do a fix on it or do you have to replace the whole belt?
