lost tachometer,

i have a 2000 dodge ram 2500 5.9 47re
when i am driving my tachometer drops to zero and i have no power.
then it will work and i get my power back. ANY HELP

Better check codes. Probably cam position sensor if you are lucky. Just finished the same problem.

Had this show up one time before the VP-44 dieda while back.
