Default Bad ECM or PCM?

Posted the other day with some problems I was having, Spoke to a mechanic at Dodge and said it would be the computer. I shorted out the battery lead when I was cjanging a battery im my 2500. Thought I had disconnected the other batt but it wasnt, Anyway, Ive got symptoms now like the lift pump running non stop and numerous warning lights as well as flashing eng light. Would it be the ECM or the PCM, and I am assuming the PCM is the unit bolted to the engine. I have seen numerous shops that can repair or exchange but want to make sure I pull the right part. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
