First ??? in this section

Hello guys, I've had my 06 CTD 2500 Megacab for a week now, and love it. I noticed when I start it up in the morning, the volt gauge goes up and down a few times before it stays at 15 volts or so. Is this normal?

yup.....its your grid heater cycling on and off. It will do that until certain sensors hit certain temps or you start driving faster than about 17 mph.
