Default HELP!!! rear brakes!!

I am doing a complete brake job on a 2004 ram daully. How the hell do I get the rear rotors off. Just wondering if I have to take the hub nut off or just the 4 nuts on the back side. Any info is greatly appriciated! Thank you!!

If you take the axle shaft out, i think you will find a large nut inside. If so, remove nut & bearing and it should come off.

Ok. So once I take that cover plate off and some fluid comes out, there is a nut in there that comes off and if I rememeber right it needs to be cranked down to some astronomical amount of foot pounds when putting back together.

Thanks for the info. It's greatly appriciated!!

The cover plate should be the hole axle shaft? hope we are talking about the same thing here .... When I took mine off the 6 bolts that are on the very end of the rotor take those out hit the face with a hammer so the seal will break loose then the Axle should be able to pull out.. Its too late now but Tomorrow I can take pictures and guide you through it???

Do yourself a favor and jack up the side you're working on and you won't get so much gear oil spillage.
