Default Need some advice...Tierod ends and tires

Hello all,
Looking for some advice on my 06 Mega Cab. I took it to the dealer for a LOF and asked them what else is needed at 46000 miles.
They came back with quite a list.
Service Differentials $225.00 I thing I can handle this myself
Rotate tires and check brakes $39.95 not too bad
Fuel Filter $72.00…I think I can buy one for > $25.00
Tie Rods End Kit with damper arms & nuts $846.89….WHAT?
Alignment $95.00

My question is…should tie rod ends be bad at 46,000 miles and is so, is $850 too much?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Depending on many factors, your tie rod ends could be bad. Check them to see if they are tight. If not, they need to be replaced. After replaced, your truck needs an alignment. I do not know what they cost, but that seems steep. If you did all the work yourself, besides the alignment, you would save lots of money. Those are all quick maintinece repairs that one should learn how to do. Have fun!
