Default Emergency Flashers

The emergency flashers on my 2000 3500 CTD has quit working. I was told that somthing in the steering wheel (the switch you push) has to be replaced. Is this true or is just another stealer dealer blowing smoke on me for more money?

I could use any help any of you can supply.

Like Dodge trucker said check fuses if not already done and if it is the Turn signal switch hazzard switch Replace it not that hard torq bits and a long philips screwdriver... I don't think you have to remove the steering wheel and Airbag. just the plastic cover around the column. Please dont pry the hosing its plastic and will break.. if it wont lift by hand You forgot a screw somewhere.. plus leave the key out of the ignition so the cover will clear...
Turn signal switch and hazzard switch I think its all one piece...
Hope that helps Pizzo

O'reilly's 58.99 for one turn signal switch and hazzard switch its all one piece... If it has pulse wipers (Intermitant). If not then the Hub store has them... Autozone is your next bet Hope that helps Pizzo
