couple of words of advice...

1) start getting this filter http://www.adiesel.com/baldwinfilters/PF7977.html and change it every 10k miles, it is rated at 5 micron, which is 2 better then OEM IIRC which is at 7 micron.

2) run 16 oz of this stuff per tank... white or gray bottle
http://www.powerservice.com/dk/ this will help keep the injectors clean & flowing well. found at walmart for about $17 bux for large bottle. 96 oz IIRC

3) (optional) run 16 oz of 2 stroke oil per tank, use oil marked tcw3 which is a low ash (if not ashless, I dont remember which).

reason IMO for #3 is to add lubrication for the injection pump (CP3) which gets its lube from the fuel. while this design is supposedly better than the previous VP44 pump found in the 2nd gen trucks, 2 stroke will provide lubrication to help with reduced wear.

Also, black oil for the cummins is normal...

np... another thing you can do to post up pics is to link them in from a pic hosting site like photobucket.com... what I do is use the picture resizing tool (I think it's linked in the diy list) to knock the size down to a smaller format so it loads quickly on pc's and then upload it into photobucket. works well...
