Hey everyone this is my first post to these forums. I am looking at buying a 97 12 valve 4x4 5spd extended cab long bed Ram 2500 with 182,000 miles. The current owner said for roughly 60 percent of the trucks life it was pulling between 10,000 and 12,000 lbs. He owned a towing business in Colorado and it was mostly driven on highways. The transmission was rebuilt in 2004 and he said he changed the oil every 5,000 miles. It runs and drives great, looks good and is going for 12,500$. I dont have any pics... but

Would this truck have excessive wear from its history?

Would its life expectancy be less?

What problems could I encounter?

Would you buy this truck?

I know these trucks were meant for this kind of use but I would like to buy one of these and use it for a long time. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
