2002 3500 ctd 6 speed 4x4 when coasting along with my foot off the pedal the truck seems to accelerate all by its self? it idles fine and its kind of a slow acceceration and doesnt do it all the time im new to standard diesel's is this normal? it also has a jake brake,mbrp 4inch exhaust, afe cold air intake and edge box does this effect anything?

 

not sure if yours is normal but this is my story. Doesnt mater what gear but when at low rpms and shift up my truck heavily accelarates to get the rpms up. Im assuming its becuase the truck doesnt like to run below 1000rpms. ITS POWERFUL!! i love that feeling.

 

Sounds like your APPS is sticking.

 

think resetting it will help?
