Tranny Help
So i have had my ATS tranny back for about 2 and half weeks put about 2k on it. I started to realize the other day that i get a little vibration/grinding when going in to reverse. Now this morning i back up into a parking space and had the same problem not so bad this time. But when i tried to back up again later in the day guess what no reverse. The tranny does not even feel like its switching into the gear. I can drive in 1 2 and D not a problem. tranny is not running hot runs perfect. I REALLY dont want to send this thing back to ATS i wanna be able to drive the truck this summer. Can anybody point me in the righ direction in what to try or what i should have the tranny shop try? all the help is welcomed.
wow, that sucks to hear you have another problem with that ats-pos, the best i could say is pull the pan and see if there is anything obvious, otherwise i would have a few choise words for ats, and make them foot the entire bill one way or another
Ya well needless to say the tranny shop just called. told me that reverse is shot and overdrive is on its way out. ATS is is at lunch right now...ya the hole F ing shop takes lunch all at once whatever. This company blows. unless they send me a tranny before i send them mine i will never ever talk to them again and i will trash talk them to every single person i possibly can. waiting on a call back from them....ya like they are going to call this time *** holes.
something that may help your case.... try posting over at dieseltruckresource, there is an ats rep over there, and if you put your story up there, he may be a little more willing to help you out, and if not, someone over there should give you some insite on how to properly deal with ats
