Red face P0480 Cooling fan

So i just threw a code P0480> its a Cooling fan control circut open, low speed fan. Any ideas how to fix this? and i have a feeling this is why my truck is overheating on back roads.

Sounds like the fan clutch is toast.

If it is, I may have ya covered. I'm in the middle of pulling my engine and trans out and I'm putting in Flex-A-Lite dual electrics so I won't need my OEM fan.

Ohm the fan clutch circuit and see what you get. If it's shot let me know. Pay the shipping and I'll get the one I just took off on the way to ya......as soon as I verify that the fans are working how I want them.

Eeeeew.....that sucks.

Like I said, if you end up needing it, once I make sure electrics are doing what I want, pay the shipping and I can get it out to ya.
