is your cooler free of debris? did your truck come with the stock towing setup?
i would also recommend a deeper transmission pan which will help it stay cooler.

hayden makes some good coolers for a good price, i always bypass the radiator trans cooler and run a dedicated cooler for the trans, but we dont get very cold here, here is the one i like---> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hayde...Q5fAccessories

whats your vin and i can look it up and see if your truck came with an aux trans cooler.
you should be able to tell by looking at your radiator/condenser assembly if you have little coolers in front or if its integrated with the radiator

Ya i have one already in it. i talked to a tranny shop around here yesterday. they told me if im running a heavy load on the tranny whitch i am. I should not be cheap and pony up the bills to put a better cooler in. So im going to look around and fine one that will keep her cool.

what size of hose and what type of fittings do you need to look for when adding an aftermarket cooler?.. I have a 99 2500 cummins with an factory cooler that needs to be replaced
