I have an ATS intake and love it. did a comparison to the stock horn while doing mpg testing & found it gave .5 mpg better than the stocker.

the intake manifolds really dont help at all unless you need some more ports for water/meth or gauges, ect. if you really want one, cooler tubes sells one for the best price, but im running somewhere around 600hp and i still have the stock manifold and dont plan on changing it. even when i go bigger

the more you make, the harder it is to tell if there is any benefit. for me, very noticeable as I'm not much over stock (smarty & exhaust). passing on one lane roads became easier using less throttle to get the job done, plus no downshift.

Aweful lot of money for a marginal improvement at best. Seat-of-the pants isn't different much (if any) and a half mpg doesn't warrant it for me. Money is better spent elsewhere, in my opinion.

If I HAD to get one...I'd likely go with the GDP unit. And even at that, the only reason I'd get on is for the ports on the back. Rich is a good guy, and ships stuff out real quick.

well then the one you tried must have sucked, which one was it? ATS claims 19hp/57tq with a dyno sheet on their website and I could easily tell the difference after the install. worth it IMO...

that is an aweful lot of $ for ports on the back... a tap & drill bit are allot cheeper... no need to get one if you don't think its worth it.
