Default loose throttle linkage 98 ram

where my throttle cable attaches and pivot on the injection pump has alot of play in the area...truck has 225xxx miles and has manual trans...how do you correct this problem...dies when coming to an idle at stop sign some times...any help would be great

that wont cause the stalling issue, you just need to turn the idle up a little, i'm assuming its a 12 valve engine, correct? the idle should be 800-850 rpm with the a/c on

sorry, yes it is the rear of the injection pump looking from the driver side, the low idle screw is what you want to adjust
