Default 06 2500 5.9 AC Problem, already replaced Compressor

Really need some help here...

My AC stopped working a couple weeks ago in my '06 2500 w/ 68K miles. When I would hit the AC switch, the compressor would spin a couple times, then just stop...I was thinking it was just a high pressure switch.

I took the truck to a couple different shops and they could provide me with an answer to my problem. I went ahead and purchased a new compressor and replace it along with all other supporting AC parts.

Two weeks later, no AC....same problem.!

Do I happen to have another bad compressor or is there some other "gremlin" I'm missing.???

I'm trying to sell this truck and really need to get this resolved asap.

Thank you friends.!!

Check for a refrigerant leak. Was dye used? If it was you should be able to see a leak if one is present.

a compressor cycling like that is a sign of low charge, bet you have a leak somewhere, check all the lines/connections, it may be the evaporator, and sounds like your original compressor was replaced for no reason...
