Default Uh Oh...

Climbed under the RAM the other day and it looks like the main seal is leaking. Oil residue all over the tranny and back of engine.

That's one part I', not going to try to fix myself.

Anyone have a ballpark figure for what it'll cost to have the seal replaced?

manual transmission: 6.3 hours labor
automatic transmission: 4.3 hours labor

my dealership charges $114 per hour
but now idea about your part of town
if you can trust an independent shop to do it they probably charge $75 - $125 an hour labor
