I guess it will depend on the year/make/model......

In my case, I have a 2008 Ram/diesel/3500/4x4/DRW and had the rear window broken when it was two weeks old.

I was told that the whole rear window is one piece due to the electric slider control system.

They replaced the entire rear window- Part#DB1094YPYNCOM / rear window assembly @ $512.73 / $197.40 labor. They claimed the list price on the window was $854.55

I watched as they replaced the window. The window electric motor and control system was all part of the window assembly. They had to remove the rear seat to get at everything.

I hope in your case you can just replace the slider window!

Good luck with your repair.....
