leveling kit brands
So i am wanting to put a leveling kit into my 1998.5 T.D. 2500. I called around to a few of the parts stores. The brand names i came up with are Daystar($140) and Zone($120). Is one any better then the other?? Is there a better brand to us?
Well....there are a few other options.
Procomp makes a steel spacer, which I think is better than the rubber that daystar offers. It's also still relatively inexpensive.
Ready lift also makes leveling kits for a bargain.
Depending on the level of performance you are looking for is the main factor associated with cost. The high end, kits like Kore and Carli, run in the $400-$800 price range and give exceptional quality along with improved on and off-road characteristics. They have different coils that go on the truck rather than a spacer.
I have the Kore kit on mine and I love it. It helped my truck handle better all around. You also get bilstein shocks with the kit, which make a difference also.
They can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. I will post a few links here to help you make a decision.
Just remember, base your decision off of what the truck is used for. A concrete pounder could benefit from a Kore or carli, but will be just fine with a cheaper kit. If you go off-road, I would strongly suggest something more like the above.
Here is the link to Kore's product.

Also, here is a review of a comparison that a fellow member did as well.

Good luck! Any more questions feel free to ask.
