Default Turbo/Intercooler

So im looking at finally upgrading my turbo on my 06. I want something that will handle the power and fuel im throwing at it right now and down the road. Is it wise to change out the intercooler as well? Its more money then i want to throw out right now. Can stock intercoolers hold up to aftermarket turbos or the other way around? any advice will be great.

dont even worrie about the intercooler, they are plenty enough to handel a big set of twins with no broblems, for a turbo, do your reasearch before you buy, my recomendations would be a s300 with 62mm compressor wheel, 12-14cm wastegated exhaust housing, with a 68 mm exhaust wheel, something like that will be able to handel a massive amount of power, and is perfect as a small turbo is a set of twins, if you ever decide to go that route
