Default Guage Info

I am looking to install a boost guage, tranny temp guage and egt guage in my 2006 CTD with 6 spd manual tranny. I have heard of a couple different places to place the egt probe, manifold and exhaust, was wondering which position would be the best. Also I have read about the boost bolt used to install the boost probe but have also read about intake elbows with threaded areas for this kind of thing. And where would I place the tranny temp guage probe for my manual tranny? Any advice I get will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

for the egt, put it in the manifold, thats the most accurate, for the boost, get the boost bolt, its very simple, and actually i have built a few of them my self, just drill a small hole through a intake manifold bolt and weld a 1/8 in NPT union to the bolt, for the trans temp, i just drill and tap a hole in the pto cover, near the bottom, make sure you replace what ever oil you lose with the correct stuff, or you will destroy the trans

Where are you getting your EGT probe from? I am planning to do the same.
