Default Help with Alternator replacement

OK, this one has me scratching my nuts.
I have a 97 RAM 3500 diesel that I need to change the alternator on. Looked simple at first, but there is an internal bushing that seems to be pressed thru the lower mounting pivot clevis of the alternator.
Unless I am missing something, and I hope I am, It looks as though you would have to remove the grill and radiator in order to get enough room to tap the bushing out. Is there a trick, or a special tool that is needed to get this mini beast out?
Many thanks for any help here.

Scott.

no, the alt should come out, it may be stuck a little, but a little persuasion with a pry bar should help it out of there, the bushing does not go through the mounts its just sanwitched in there
