Default delete kit and programmer

ok, so we all know that the egr and dpf and all this other junk they put on the 6.7 is crap! we all agree on this. unfortunatly mine still has all this. Im thinkin bout doin the delete kit but need info on what is the best kit for the money as well as the programmer? and also will the exhaust brake continue to work after the fact?

I'm running an H&S programmer/dpf delete with an AFE exhaust and it works great. I added an air dog and S&B intake, and picked up a bunch of power and fuel economy. Easy highway cruising I can get 20-24, combined I've been getting about 18 highway/city to work and back. DK diesel said a setup they did similar to mine put over 420 hp to the ground. H&S says theirs put ~495/1105 to the dyno. I also got their Overdrive tranny reflash and I love the difference it made.

sounds like a great setup! does the kit and new exahust eliminate all the line that run into the factory exahust? and is the new exahust loud? what exactly is the tranny reflash and what does that do or change?

Yeah there's basically nothing going into the exhaust now. It's louder than stock, that's for sure, but it's quiet enough that you can carry on a conversation and use the bluetooth just fine.

The tranny reflash increases line pressure, adjusts shift points, and a bunch of other stuff I don't know/care about, and it makes it much nicer to drive.

Here in Sarasota, a lot of my driving is in 45-55 mph zones. Before the Overdrive update, my truck dumped into 6th gear as soon as possible - about 35 mph - and it lugged around at 1k rpm, which means it needed to downshift in order to get moving. Now it sticks in lower gears to keep the revs at 1500-1800ish. It seems to get better fuel economy by staying in a bit higher RPM range too.
